7.6 kWh Electric Motorcycle Battery Pack

The unique pack designed by the team at CIE Solutions is a 7.6 kWh lithium-ion NMC battery pack. It's comprised of 600 individually wire-bonded 18650 cells and housed in a custom aluminum extruded enclosure.  The entire battery pack and electronics were designed to be fully immersed in a non-conductive cooling bath to allow for maximum performance from the cells.  It was rapidly prototyped with in-house 3D printing and CNC techniques but ultimately designed for production using injection molding to minimize manufacturing costs for the client. **Please note, these are custom prototypes and are not available as an off-the-shelf solution.
